32 Temperature Sensor Data Logger

These pair of identical datalogging temperature sensors were built around the Atmega2560 for the large number of GPIO pins and memory. The temperature sensors are single wire interface and individually addressable sensors allowing the user to know which sensor is where in the array. There is also a user addressable LCD screen that displays all of the current sensor data.

The data are saved onto SD cards as a text file which can then be saved and processed using whatever program the user may prefer.

The intent of the research project this supports is to characterize different roofing materials for temperature retention and absorption. The goal is to create a roofing material that provides beneficial thermal characteristics and improves the thermal profile of the building it covers.
